Love their food! But this review is not about their food.

Today I called in to order because my daughter was asleep in the car, so I figured I would just run in and grab my order. I told the person on the phone and she asked if that was me parked outside the doors, and I said yes. You guys, she came outside to take my payment and brought the food to my car so I didn't have to leave my daughter in the car! Talk about 5 star customer service! Thank you for going above and beyond for the parents of this town!

I am very disappointed in not only the food, but the service from the MANAGER as well. I have never left a bad review before because normally the restaurant asks about concerns or tries to do their best to see what they can do to help the situation.
We had called in an order and when we picked up the food, the lady at the counter was short with us and rude. When we got back to pass out the food, the order was wrong. The first time I called, the manager (Victoria) was nice enough to inform me that it was her mistake. That wasn't a problem. We were fine with that. My coworker realized that there was no dressing on her salad, which we had asked for a cilantro dressing, and two other orders were wrong as well. We both called back and had asked if we could have discount because of those reasons. Victoria was extremely rude and unprofessional. She began telling us that we were in the wrong and that there was nothing she could do for us. She didn't even apologize for the mistake and blamed it on the people bagging the food.
Victoria should not be a manger with her way of "helping" customers. She had the worst attitude and I will not be ordering from this establishment ever again.

Ok, so I stopped in here for lunch on a weekday on my lunch break. A friend had referred me here and he knows his food, so I took his advice. Not much to look at from the outside as it's situated in a small strip mall. First thing I noticed was their outside patio. Pet friendly, always a plus, even though I didn't have my dog with me, good to know for the future. I ordered a Carne Asada Burrito at the counter and sat at an older, clean table. Within minutes, the counter lady came out with a nice hot basket of chips and a small bowl for salsa. The salsa they offer comes in a squeeze bottle and you pour into the little bowl as you go. Salsa was very watery and bland. No spice, no flavor. The chips were great. With the chips and salsa, came my burrito, on a plate with a fork and knife. Nice because sometimes a carne asada burrito can get messy, so the plate was nice. Super good beans and carne asada! Authentic flavor and big portion. I was happy. I enjoyed my lunch while looking at the menu for future items, knowing I'd be back when I'm in the area. The menu didn't list the prices which is kind of a pet peeve, because I like to see what things cost and if it's reasonable. Also, the bathroom was pretty dirty, as the waste basket was full and the toilet was dirty. Lucky I went in after my meal. All in all, good authentic Mexican food, reasonable prices, but the lack of a good salsa and dirty bathrooms led me to give this place 4 stars. I will be back when I'm in the area to try the torta, which I hear is amazing.

I gave one star because I had to in order to write this post. First off we ordered 12 tacos with rice and beans and spent a good amount there. Once we got home we found out there was pretty much nothing in all the tacos and to top it off there was a hair in our food. I wanted to give this place another chance because it used to be one of my favorite spots to go, but over the past years this place has gone down hill. My family and I will NOT be returning here again! Please save ur self and go to real authentic Mexican food at Palapas or El Pollo Norteno !!
Look closely at the THIRD picture u will see the black hair!!

First time here. Clean and vintage dining room. We had a tostado and enchilada plate and tostado supreme. The salsa and chips were fresh and very good. They give you a squeeze bottle of salsa which was great to add to our meal. The staff was very friendly. We definitely will come back next time  in Simi Valley
